After-Work Errands

Today I took the zoomies to work, thinking that since the weather was nice I might take the long way home. Instead, I did all the running around after work.
First I met Jen at Ikea. Jen has been volunteering with the people who manage the little free libraries in the area, and somehow managed to get herself assigned to the one at the kinderboerderij by Delftse Hout. So we figured we'd go from Ikea
to the mini-bieb
and she could tidy up. I managed to fail to capture that bit of the map due to some phone GPS silliness. Anyway, once that was done, I gave her the contents of one of my panniers and she gave me some papers that needed mailing. This was about 6:15 and the DHL office in Ypenburg closes at 7:00, so off I zipped.
Once the papers were mailed, I popped into Amazing Oriental for 5 kg of rice and a new sambal to try. By this point it was about 6:45 and they also close at 7, so no dilly-dallying for me.
Next stop was the pharmacy near home, where some drugs were awaiting pickup. Fortunately, while the pharmacy closes at 6, there are robots for that sort of thing.
Then on the way to a toko to pick up dinner, I passed by Oostport in all its late-afternoon glory.
Finally, it was time to go home and eat that dinner.
