Running Errands

After yesterday's long-ish ride, Jen wanted to go for another. (Mooi weer!) I wanted to get some stuff done. So we rode to places to do some stuff. I needed rice from Amazing Oriental, wrenches from Hornbach, and water filters from a pet supply store in The Hague.
First, though, we took a different route to Ypenburg. Of course we ran into another line of geese crossing the street.
This time, a car pushed its way through their line. Someone was feeling impatient, I guess.
After we hit the mall in The Hague with the pet supplies, we took a detour through an area I hadn't seen before.
I broke up the recordings, so we have different segments:
Home to Amazing Oriental. Jen led most of the way, and may have been going for speed. (Snel is goed!)

Total distance: 7.7 km
Amazing Oriental to Hornbach
Max speed: 28.4 km/h
Average speed: 15.5 km/h
Total distance: 1.6 km
Hornbach to Brasserskade (Jen leading again) to see a house.
Max speed: 26.6 km/h
Average speed: 13.1 km/h
Total distance: 1.7 km
Brasserskade to pet shop
Max speed: 22.8 km/h
Average speed: 15.3 km/h
Total distance: 7.4 km
And the pet shop back to home
Max speed: 35.2 km/h
Average speed: 16.7 km/h
Total distance: 8.5 km
That adds up to a total distance of 26.9 km and an overall average speed of 16.4 km/h.
