Ascension Day

Ascension day seems to be one of those holidays that everyone gets off but nobody really cares about the religious significance. They had a run through Delft last year, and did the same thing this year. So Jen and I headed out in the morning to beat the crowds.

The original plan was to take route 89, but someone went rogue and we ended up zipping out to Intratuin, past some cows.

After the ride, we went to Michel, where they were out of croissants.

We spent the rest of the day moving slowly between cafes. These guys seem to have brought their own table.

And of course there was more wildlife. The meerkoet chicks are getting big.
