Today Jen went to the spa, so I rode part of the way with her.

When we got to the crossing over the Schie, however, our paths diverged. The wind was blowing a force 5 out of the West, so of course I headed West.
Along the way, I passed this thing:
Also, the bike path took me through a forest.
This is a real bike path, on the bike network. You can see signs saying not to divert off the path.
Eventually, I got to Hoek van Holland, where you can take the ferry to England:
From there, I turned South and followed the Maas. Up to this point, I had been going mostly into the wind, but afterwards it was mostly downwind and fast.
That took me past the Maeslantkering
I turned off the river just before Maasluis, and came home through Schipluiden,
