Liberation Day 2025

Today is the a holiday in the Netherlands, so I get to go for a bike ride. In the morning, Jen and I went for a little ride (and walk) around Delftse Hout.
After that, I ran some errands. Biking done, the day progressed nicely, then Jen had some appointments in the afternoon and I broke out the zoomies.
I started out going up the Schie,
then went West for a while before looping back. The sun came out, but it was still pretty windy.
At one point, I came to what looked like a dead end in a construction site.
Some helpful passersby told me that the dark shipping container was actually a tunnel, not just the end of the road. I should have known from the lack of detour signs.

Average speed: 20.8 km/h
Total distance: 30.6 km
Bike computer numbers:
Max speed: 35.7 km/h
Average speed: 20.2 km/h
Total distance: 29.87 km
Again, we have a max speed from the GNSS that's pretty suspect.
