Not Even The Hague

Jen booked us a hotel in Scheveningen, right on the beach, for the weekend. So of course we took the train to Den Haag Centraal and rode bikes from there. Jen brought her bike and I planned on renting an OV-fiets like usual. However, the OV-fiets place was completely out of bikes. I was thinking about standing around waiting for someone to return one, but Jen called up Biancha at Bink Bikes who had previously rented us bikes in The Hague, and she had something for us.

From there, we rode through Haagse Bos then to the beach.

The hotel room Jen booked us was pretty amazing. I suspect she may have splurged.

We went to Luna for dinner on Amir's recommendation. Then back to the hotel in time for sunset.

The next day (May the Fourth) we set out along the beach for a bit, then rode back.

The return trip to the train station involved going through that forest again.

I noticed this beg button while we were waiting to cross a street. I guess people on horses need to cross streets too.

Eventually we made it back to the bike shop, dropped off my bike, then took the train home.

Blue is out, orange is return.
