Monster Weekend

Jen and I went to Monster for the weekend by bike. The trip up started Friday afternoon with a ride past 't Woudt, a tiny village with 36 residents.
Closer to the beach, there was a kabouter-crossing zone.
Eventually, we arrived at our super fancy room.
Saturday morning, I got up early and went for a run in the dunes. There was lightning over the North Sea, and the sun was rising behind rain over The Hague.
Sunday morning, we packed up
and headed back past the beach.

The route home had similarly nice scenery.
We stopped for ice cream in Kwintsheul, and made it home in time for lunch.
