Software update for bike?

My trike e-bike got a reboot Saturday. Pesky injuries weighing me down but at least the bike was fixable. The slowing of the bike was hard to notice until we rode two different bikes in the same day. Yep, something wrong with the trike. Not chains or tires or derailers, so what gives? The shop said come on over and they would look at it right away. A train ride and an hour and the trike is back to enabling an injured person to get out into this beautiful world. Thank you!
