14 ESE falling to 6 ENE. 74 down to 70, but very sunny. Kinda warm.

Picked up Meg with Nate and Isobel at 4:30. Thought it was going to be very light, but wind seemed nice so we headed out to go around Spectacle. Saw a very excited bird and a boat full of people, both fishing near the airport. The people caught something while we watched but the bird didn't. Taped out the spinnaker with Nate while Isobel steered past the island. Turned South a bit after passing G "1" and Nate and took over the tiller. Isobel helped finish rigging up the spinnaker. Headed a bit East of RN "8A" right around low tide, avoiding the ledge. Sailed toward GC "7" for a bit after passing the Sculpin Ledge, then turned toward GC "9" off Thompson and launched the spinnaker.

Flew spinnaker up to GC "9", then towards RN "2". Pulled it down to head up a bit to get to G "5" day marker, then set it again once we were in the channel. Wind died the rest of the way around Castle Island as we got passed by a J27 with their motor in. A little while later (before 7:45) a BSC boat came out to tow us the rest of the way in. Back on the dock at 8:07.
